Schwabenland Drum carder for hand carding, combing the fleece and wool. Professional, stabile, wide drum carder produced by German Schwabenland company. It can be used for all kind of fleece - directly from the sheep, washed, and not washed, for making melanges of coloured tops dedicated to felting and spinning, for mixing various kinds of fibres f.ex. silk, angelina, linen. It is modern and home version of traditional carding machine. Ideal for home carding easy in use. Heavy enough (13 kg) to work directly on the table without clamps. The drumcarder is equiped with a doffer brush, doffer pin. Density of carding mate is fine 72 needles / cal², rather for fine and extrafine fibers. Not lacquered.
